Co-founder & former on-air DJ of the HIPHOCALYPSE (2000 - 2003). A Zimbabwean native who has always been a lover of hip hop art & culture. First got involved in the global hip hop phenomenon at age 16 rhyming under the psuedonom "KraiZ-E" in a crew called 3 man group called the "Hip Hop Henchmen (HHH)" in Harare. Put out a video mixtape titled "Homeboy TV" featuring music videos and HHH rhyming over popular mid-90's tracks. Established the HIPHOCALYPSE radio show with housemate Nkanyiso "So" Mthembu on the student broadcast station Rhodes University, Rhodes Music Radio (RMR), in Grahamstown South Africa in February of 2000. The show grew from strength to strength into a MOVEment of local hip hop heads gathering critical acclaim & listenership from all over Grahamstown & surrounding areas. Awarded the inaugural RMR "Show of the year award" in 2003 for outstanding community contribution. The Show is now a permanent feature on the RMR line-up +/-10 years and running! Eventually landed regular DJ spots at local nightclubs. Also released 2 independent mixtape compilation CD's titled the HIPHOCALYPSE Mixtape (2004)& HIPHOCALYPSE Re-mixtape (2005). Currently publishing bi-weekly African hip hop podcasts showcasing upcoming African hip hop artists. Also syndicated weekly all over Africa via TransAfrica Radio on MultiChoice DSTV channel 172 every Wednesday at 3:00pm, 10:00pm and 3am Central African Time (GMT+2hrs) every Wednesday night.
